Menu Plan: Week of Dec. 16, 2012

With Chanukah behind us, I know I’m not the only one looking for lighter meal options. There are only so many days in a row that I can serve fried foods before my conscience starts to get to me.
In that spirit, I’ve got an easy salad dressing to share with you this week, followed by a treat of another sort: a guest post from Miriam at Tales of an Overtime Cook! I can’t wait to show you what’s she been cooking up for us.

- Brown rice with soy sauce
- Basic lettuce salad with garlic sesame dressing
Monday
- Butternut squash soup with ginger
- Challah toasts
Tuesday
- Tangy oriental spaghetti (based on Gatherings)

Wednesday
- Spicy zucchini salad over bulgar
- Mustard-roasted potatoes
Thursday
- Tuscan white bean stew
- Basic lettuce salad with garlic sesame dressing
