Menu Plan: Week of Dec. 30, 2012
By Tali Simon | December 30, 2012
Confession: There’s about a 98% chance that I won’t make a single thing on this menu. Our little guy is 18 days old today, and we’ve been treated to delicious meals from our neighbors since we got home from the hospital. We’ll be feasting on Shabbos leftovers for as long as they last, and after that? I think there’s some stuff in the freezer.
I haven’t forgotten about the rest of you, though. Here’s a menu plan for the week — have me in mind, will you? And don’t forget to check back in over the next couple of days. I’ve got a recipe for homemade falafel and some savory crepes that are so good, I’d eat them every day.
Sunday
- Perfect split pea soup
- Challah toasts
Monday
- Peanut and sesame noodles (The New Enchanted Broccoli Forest)
- Lettuce salad with creamy cilantro dressing
Tuesday
- Tomato soup with grilled cheese croutons
- Lettuce salad with creamy cilantro dressing
Wednesday
- Black bean & sweet potato chili over rice
- Lettuce salad with creamy cilantro dressing
Thursday
- Fluffy maple biscuits
- Scrambled eggs
- Fruit

oh I didn’t even realize the link to us! it’s an easy soup and make a double batch for the freezer. I still do that and my son is 18 months.
