Menu Plan: Week of Dec. 1, 2013

By | December 1, 2013

Should I apologize for putting latkes on the menu for four straight nights? Forget about the two times last week that I already made latkes — we’ve been testing latke recipes for weeks already in this house. I’ll never get sick of fried shredded potatoes and all their variations, so no matter how many batches I make in the weeks beforehand, once Chanukah is actually here, I feel compelled to make them pretty much every night.

For those of you who don’t believe in that much fried food in the span of one week, I think there are some salads on the menu, too. And come back soon for a great all-in-one latke-centered meal that balances out the oil.

Your Channuka recipes and suggestions are so great. I made about fifty mini latkes yesterday for Illana, Jonathan, Jonah and Noam and of course for Grandpa and Grandma too. Channukah Sameach to all.

Aren’t those latkes perfect for little hands? Sounds like a great time.
