I’ve never looked forward to Lag B’Omer the way I am this year. What’s changed? Oh, just my son’s hair. More specifically, the fact that I have a toddler who is constantly smooshing food into his hair. Hair which I inevitably just washed. Hair which was, just minutes earlier, all soft and fresh and gorgeous but quickly became greasy and sticky and … yeah. So we’re giving him his very first buzz cut. Bring on the buzzer. There are only so many more days of peanut butter/cream cheese/squished rice in the hair that I can take.
Come back this week for a beyond delicious chummus that’d be perfect for Lag B’Omer picnics and the latest installment of What My Baby’s Eating (which I have to rename “What My Toddler’s Eating”).
- Spaghetti and meatballs
- Upside-down vegetable tower bake
- Leftover soup from Sunday
